Outside Pull

This handle can only be used on the outside of the door, the side where the track is seen. If you mount this on the inside on the door, you can’t slide the door as it will hit the wall.

Outside pulls made of raw steel and matte black are 1.5” wide as seen in the illustration.

Outside pulls made of brass and stainless steel are 1” wide.

Recessed Handles

Recessed handles can be used on both sides of the door. For the inside of the door (the other side of the wall where you don’t see the track), make sure you install the handles in a way that when the door is closed, you’ll still have access to the handles. If you’re doing telescopic application, you’ll only need handle(s) for one door.

There are 3 finishes:

  • Raw steel
  • Matte Black
  • Brass: please note that this is not solid brass, it is brass plated, the colour is slightly different from our solid brass barn door hardware, but still goes well together.
  • Satin Nickel: we find the Satin Nickel finish goes well with our stainless steel barn door hardware finish.

Drilling Option

We predrill the holes symmetrically along the track. The ends holes go in 1” from the end of the track. If you would rather drill your own holes to match with the studs, please chose NO PREDRILL.

Track Length

The track is usually twice the width of the door.

Please read the installation instructions for more info.

If your track is over 96” long, it will be shipped as two pieces, and you mount them butt ended. If you’re picking up from our studio, the longest it can be as one piece is 150”. After that, it has to be in two pieces.

Track lengths of 6′ and below are the same price.

Application

You can apply our Single Track Bypass in one of two ways below:

  • STANDARD BYPASS: Each door moves independently in front of the opening, allowing access to half of the space at a time. * NOT RECOMMENDED FOR OPENINGS OF LESS THAN 60” WIDE
  • TELESCOPIC BYPASS: Both doors move together in a telescoping manner allowing access to full space. Requires wall space to park the doors when opened.
Finish

Our Single Track Bypass hardware comes in 5 finishes/design. If you would like white powder coated, please contact us at info@1925workbench.com to request that.

  • Raw steel is unfinished raw metal
  • Stainless steel
  • Solid brass (the only parts not solid brass are the bolts which is brass plated)
  • Arrowhead is unfinished raw metal, with hangers in shape of arrowheads
  • Matte Black, powder coated matte black

Track length

The track is usually twice the width of the door. Please read the installation instruction for more info.

We do not ship anything over 96” as one piece, therefore, if the total track length for the bi-part doors is longer than that, it would be in two pieces.

Track lengths of 6′ and below are the same price.

Application

Standard: For one door.

Bi-part: two doors are installed along the same track; the doors slide away from each other to open and slide towards each other in the middle to close. Please note, you can install two separate tracks side by side to create a longer track. For example, if the track you need is 12’, you can use 2x 6’ tracks. We do not ship anything over 105” as one piece, therefore, if the total track length for the bi-part doors is longer than that, it would be in two pieces.
